Mickey Rourke Arrested for DUI on a Vespa - Vrooom!

Mickey Rourke DUI Miami, Florida - November 8, 2007. How does it go? It is all fun and games riding a scooter until a friend sees you? Unfortunately, for Mickey Rourke the police saw him riding a scooter while he was under the influence of intoxicants.

Rourke was cruising around on a Vespa scooter and made an illegal U-turn. Police officers attempted a traffic stop, but Mickey motored off weaving along the way. Mickey was finally stopped and the police noted the following evidence:

Vespa Scooter * flushed face
* bloodshot eyes
* watery eyes
* slurred speech
* strong odor of intoxicants on the breath

Mickey did not perform well on the field sobriety tests during the investigation and became “uncooperative.” Even though the details provided by the police make Mickey look plastered he only blew a 0.081 breath test. The DUI legal limit in Florida is 0.08.
