Virginia – Cornerback David Macklin of the Kansas City Chiefs was busted early March 13, 2009 for drunk driving. A Virginia State Police officer stopped Macklin’s BMW for illegal window tint.
During the traffic stop the officer allegedly detected an odor of intoxicants and that the driver was impaired. Little facts have been released but upon more investigation Macklin’s blood alcohol level was in excess of Virginia’s legal limit of 0.08.
