Arizona DUIMarana Town. Councilman Tim Escobedo entered a guilty plea to Driving Under the Influence and was sentenced to 10 days in jail. The judge suspended 9 days of jail, so Escobedo will only serve one day in custody.

Tim Escobedo was arrested on June 23 after failing field sobriety tests. Escobedo then provided a breath sample of 0.205. Arizona’s legal limit is 0.08. Shockingly, Escobedo downplays the DUI conviction stating, “I know that if anything else happens, it’s pretty much the end of my political career.” One DUI should be enough to end a political career.
