San Antonio, Texas. DerMarr Johnson, a support forward/guard for the San Antonio Spurs, was arrested for DWI on May 31. DerMarr was motoring at 85 mph in a 65 mph zone. A San Antonio Police officer stopped DerMarr and quickly noted an odor of alcohol on his breath.
DerMarr participated in the field sobriety tests and was arrested. At the police station DerMarr provided a breath test sample. The actual results have not been made public, but authorities claim the results were above the legal limit. In his defense Johnson told the media that he, “had a few cups of wine.” Brilliant move DerMarr. Any admission can be used against you in court. Even statements made to the media.

DUI defense is not going to be easy in this case, however, with an experienced dui defense attorney this can still be beat.
