Jared Allen, defensive end for the Kansas City Chiefs, received a welcome surprise from the NFL front office. Jared’s original four game suspension, due to a DUI arrest, was reduced from four games to two games. The suspension takes Jared Allen out of the first two games of the 2007 season.
Kansas City begins their season on September 9th at the Houston Texans, and their second game is on September 16th at the defending NFC Champion Chicago Bears.
