San Jose Sharks’ Ryane Clowe Arrested for DUI

Los Gatos, California - December 25, 2007. It was not a merry Christmas for Ryane Clowe of the San Jose Sharks. The winger was arrested for DUI.
During a traffic stop for a minor infraction officers requested Clowe participate in field sobriety tests. Ryane failed these tests and was arrested.
Ryane violated the team policy barring drinking and driving. In fact the San Jose Sharks will reimburse the cab fare for team members that use a cab when they had too much to drink. I guess filing the reimbursement paperwork was too inconvenient for Clowe.
